Bombing of Darwin Day Commemorations

A free community event to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin. Pay tribute to the men and women who courageously defended our country and selflessly helped others, those who dealt with the aftermath and those who lost their lives. The service begins at 9.30am at the Centotaph, The Esplanade and includes a vintage aircraft fly over, moving performances by the Australian Army Band Darwin, Darwin Chorale and Military Wives Choir and a re-enactment of events of the historic day.
