The provision of a consolidated picture of Australian Defence Force (ADF) estates through a digital interface to optimise capability, performance and sustainability has seen Ventia take out a 2024 Asset Management Council Excellence Award.

Ventia's innovative work on the Metabase Interactive Dashboard project across the Defence Base Services contract enables real time, big picture summaries supported by highly detailed data which can be filtered and formatted, enabling informed planning and decision making.

The Information Management Award acknowledges projects which have demonstrated originality in the use and management of asset management data particularly in the areas of acquiring, storage, interpretation, and use of data for decision making.

John Parisella, General Manager of Transformation at Ventia shared, “the Metabase is a digital solution to the “data rich, insight poor” problem, delivered through an interactive, easy to read dashboard that brings data to life. It visually represents data from multiple sources, to create a consolidated picture of ADF estate to optimise capability, performance, and sustainability”.

He added, “it enables real time, big picture summaries supported by highly detailed data which can be filtered and formatted, enabling informed planning and decision making”.

Ventia is incredibly proud to be acknowledged for its commitment to valuing data in Asset Management and pushing the boundaries associated with data driven decision making.
