Navantia delivers first four Landing Craft to Australia

The first four landing craft (LLC) for the Royal Australian Navy departed March 8 on board a cargo from Navantia facilities in Puerto Real.

The cargo is expected to arrive in Australia mid-April.

The eight remaining units are still being built by Navantia and are all in different steps of construction. These will be delivered in groups of four during the few next months.

The contract for the construction of the series of 12 LLC was signed in September 2011.
