GME has announced the appointment of Chris Rule as General Manager Defence, Security, and Resilience.
Rule has held senior positions within Australian Defence industry, most recently as Vice President – Delivery at Elbit Systems of Australia and previously with Indec Consulting (now Egis Oceania) and Cisco. His experience in the private sector follows 27 years as an Army officer, during which he held a range of command, engineering, program management and diplomatic roles, including multiple operational deployments to the Middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, and East Timor. Rule remains a Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve and continues to support the veterans and the military community as a Non-Executive Director of the Certa Cito Foundation.
GME is an Australian company offering electronics design and manufacturing services in areas of communications, robotic and autonomous systems, precision weapons, cyber security systems and integrated sensors. GME employs more than 240 staff including 50 engineers specialising in RF, electronics, software, mechanics, Test and V&V.
