I could not let this opportunity pass without saying a very special ‘thank you’ to Gregor Ferguson who has been the mainstay of ADM’s editorial team for almost as long as the magazine has been in existence.

Greg first wrote as a correspondent for ADM way back in 1994, when my husband Peter Masters and I were the owners of ADM. His contributions to the magazine increased over time until his appointment as editor in August 1998, a role he held until he handed over the reins to Katherine Ziesing at the end of 2007. Greg continued to make a major contribution to ADM’s editorial content as Editor-at-Large, until stepping down this month to pursue new opportunities outside of the defence media.

The contribution that Greg Ferguson made to the success of ADM is incalculable. The high standard of his work and the integrity of his dealings have seen him held in high esteem throughout our industry.

He has made a major contribution to the success of ADM’s conferences as well as the magazine. Working alongside Greg has been a pleasure and he moves on to greener pastures with the good wishes for his future from the entire ADM team, who will be keen to share a glass of red with him anytime our paths cross in the future. Thank you, Greg, for a job well done and best wishes for your future.
