Babcock Australasia has announced the appointment of Richard Udall as Managing Director – Mission & Support Systems.
In his new role, Udall will be responsible for leading Babcock’s Mission & Support Systems (M&SS) portfolio, which comprises programs such as Australia’s Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS), Australian Defence Force Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Collins Class submarine weapons system sustainment, New Zealand Fixed High Frequency Radio Refresh, and Counter – Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (C-CBRNE) equipment.

Udall’s appointment builds upon experience leading and delivering complex programs, most recently as the Strategic Surveillance Program Director at BAE Systems Australia where he has led a portfolio of sovereign and US export High Frequency Over The Horizon Radar programs.
