Asia Pacific Aerospace (APA) has signed a contract for the Deeper Maintenance (DM) of the Army Aviation Rolls-Royce Model 250 engines, components and accessories.

The contract includes an initial three-year term plus six option years.

If all of the options are exercised, the total value could reach approximately $18 million.

The work will be performed at APA’s facilities, located in Brisbane and Moorabbin Airport.

APA will perform DM services, including the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair and overhaul of Rolls Royce Model 250 engines, modules, components and accessories, as well as delivering supply support services and spares procurement for the Kiowa life of type.

“This Roll-Royce 250 DM contract expands on the current engine support services that APA is delivering to Army Aviation today,”Brett Ace, Business Development Manager for APA, said.

“We’ve supported Army Aviation and the ADF for more than eight years in providing engine maintenance and spares support and we continue to make significant contributions to support the ADF’s mission to ‘fight and win’.”

APA is a Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center providing support to the commercial and military operators of the M250 series powered aircraft, Honeywell LTS-101 and ADF operated GE T700 engines.
