ADM has officially launched the inaugural ADM 30 under 30 Awards, open to all individuals working in Defence, defence industry or in a defence centred public service role.
“Young people are the future of Australia’s entire defence sector," ADM 30 under 30 Awards Patron, Assistant Minister for Defence The Hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP said. "I’m proud to support the inaugural ADM 30 under 30 Awards as we recognise Australia’s best and brightest, and showcase the rewarding careers available in the ADF and Australia’s defence industry.”
Entrants must be under the age of 30 at the time of entry, and submissions can be self-nominated or entered by a third party.
Entries can be made under one of the following categories:
- Communications & Marketing: Individuals working within the communications/marketing/stakeholder engagement field.
- Engineering: Individuals working within the engineering field. This category is open to all disciplines within the engineering community.
- Legal / Contracting: Individuals working within the legal/contracting field. Applicants do not have to be lawyers per se.
- Operations: Individuals working logistics, services, administration, and other support roles.
- Human Resources / Recruiting: Individuals working in human resources, people management or recruiting roles.
- Project Management: Individuals working within project management.
- Technical Trade/Manufacturing: Individuals working within manufacturing, production, or trade fields.
- Team Leadership: Individuals who are serving as team leaders in any field.
The number of awards in each category will be proportional to the number of entries received in that category and will be determined after all entries have been received.
Entries open Wednesday 2 August 2023 and close 4pm, Friday 29 September 2023.
