KBR has announced that it is extending its support to Australian defence through a two-year contract extension, to help modernise, integrate and optimise Australia’s military capability.
The contract is an extension to work that KBR has been providing to the Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office for almost a decade, connecting the Australian Defence Force to information and supporting mission planning capability.
Mission planning systems draw on highly efficient software and supporting technologies to enable detailed, integrated planning, precise execution and post-mission debriefing.
These systems play a crucial role across the lifecycle of the Australian Defence Force's operations.
“This contract extension reflects the critically important defence and security capabilities that we have developed here in Australia to support Air and Space Operations and our continued delivery to the ADF," said Nic Maan, KBR Government Solutions Asia Pacific Vice President.
“The world leading capabilities developed by our team over almost a decade are being supported by a very capable Australian supply chain.”
KBR aims to continue supporting the modernisation, integration and optimisation of Australia’s military capability through its expertise, particularly in Command and Control and bespoke ICT systems.
