Leonardo Australia has announced that the Essendon Fields Service Centre in Melbourne, VIC, has received CASA Part 145 approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
The CASA Part 145 Maintenance approval is an enhanced regulatory standard based on Safety Management System (SMS) aimed at achieving the highest level of aviation safety performance.
The approval will enable Leonardo Australia to pursue opportunities expanding its level of services. The company says the aim is to attract commercial operators offering deeper level maintenance and safety.

Leonardo Australia currently supports a fleet of over 110 commercial and military products for more than 30 customers within the Oceania region.
