World Fuel Services Australia has announced the formalisation of the Indo Pacific Collaboration Program, an investment that 'leverages the combined strength' of Australian industry capabilities in static and deployable bulk fuel infrastructure.

The program brings together Australian industry to continue the development of a capability in the design, integration and delivery of static and deployable bulk fuel infrastructure.

The collaboration combines the global reach of World Fuel Services energy offerings with the local expertise of Holmwood Highgate, JVAT and Eclips Engineering.

Additionally, it will provide entry into World Fuel Services’ regional and global markets for the provision of end-to-end bulk fuel distribution systems while providing 'the only enduring sovereign development, integration and support hub in the southern hemisphere.

“This opportunity unites the extensive global fuel know-how we have successfully delivered from military operations abroad in Afghanistan; disaster response and humanitarian support in our region, through to local needs at home in Australia such the 2019/2020 bushfires," World Fuel Services Defence Solutions Senior Director, David Wainwright said.

“Our entry in the military sector has been a hard journey and only possible by working with the ADF and key Primes. Leveraging our Australian made product on the world stage is the natural next step this will be done in lock step with our partner World Fuel Services," Executive Director Holmwood Highgate, Wade Mellish said.

“This program ensures long term investment in Australia sovereign bulk fuel capability and export opportunities, positioning JVAT and our partners as industry leaders,"  JVAT Managing Director Jimmy Stewart said.

“This initiative supports ECLIPS’ advanced manufacturing goals to produce digitalised logistics solutions at home in Australia," ECLIPS Managing Director Shaun Moore said. “Importantly this investment provides the market penetration to take our Australian innovations and deployment capability global.”
