An MBDA-led team completed a first firing of the Fire Shadow Loitering Munition on 30 April, just 15 months after the development-demonstrator program was launched.
Team LM, which comprises traditional complex weapons suppliers, non-traditional complex weapons-defence companies, small and medium-size enterprises and academia, began design work on the new Fire Shadow weapon
system in January 2007.
