Defence and industry are invited to attend a forum entitled the ‘TDL Interoperability Summit’ at the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC) November 10, 2014.
Tactical Data Links (TDLs) are crucial in enabling the force multiplier effects of modern Australian Defence Force (ADF) capability.
An understanding of TDL interoperability issues is central to the effective operation of TDLs.
The Summit is presented by the Tactical Information Exchange Integration Office (TIEIO), DMO, in conjunction with the Australian/New Zealand Chapter of the International Data Link Society (IDLSoc).
The aim of the TDL Interoperability Summit is to inform stakeholders and the wider Defence and Defence Industry community of current and future issues concerning TDL in the (ADF).
The focus of the TDL interoperability Summit will be on bringing Defence and Industry together to develop an understanding of the issues and activities currently affecting the TDL community
The Summit, which is held adjacent to the MilCIS 2014 conference, will feature; keynote speakers, plenary sessions, industry presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
