Frazer-Nash supports Australia's future frigate design
Engineering consultancy Frazer-Nash is providing specialist technical support to the Concept Design associated with Australia’s Future Frigate Program - Sea 5000.
“The Sea 5000 is an Australian Department of Defence project which will introduce the next generation of naval surface combatants to replace the ANZAC Class Frigates. These will have anti-submarine warfare, and be capable of both independent and task group operations,” Samantha Tait, Maritime Business manager at Frazer Nash said.
“Frazer-Nash is providing the Combat System Design team lead. This requires the management and oversight of the technical contribution from industry informing a Risk Reduction Design Study (RRDS).This study will provide input to inform government decisions.”
Frazer-Nash has previously undertaken material studies and analysis studies for Sea 5000.
