DTC appoints new Membership and Advocacy manager

The Defence Teaming Centre (DTC) have announced the appointment of Sarah Taylor as the new Membership and Advocacy manager at the DTC.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman and Board, the chief executive officer of the DTC, Chris Burns welcomed Taylor highlighting that her focus will be on membership management, government relations, media engagement, strategic and business planning, marketing and communications, and brand management.

“We are very fortunate to secure Ms Taylor into this vitally important role. Sarah comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in industry and as an Advisor for Iain Evans MP for the last three years” Burns said.

Burns went on to say that “Ms Taylor joins the State’s peak defence industry association at a critical time where she will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the industry through the times ahead.”

In welcoming Taylor, Burns congratulated Rita Emanuele who is departing the DTC after six outstanding years to take up a role in the office of the Minister for Defence Industries.

“Rita has been an absolute stalwart of the defence industry in South Australia. Her dedication, professionalism and commitment have been unparalleled. While we are losing a person of great calibre in Rita, we are excited for Sarah to join our team” Burns said.
