archTIS Limited has announced it has entered into an additional work order with KPMG Australian Technologies Solutions (KTech) to the value of A$759k for data related architecture consulting services including data-taxonomy, modelling, and security for a Defence Data Program.

This is the second work order from KTech and continues archTIS’ growth across Defence following the award of a separate $7m contract in June 2022.

In April 2022, KTech was announced by the Australian Assistant Minister for Defence Andrew Hastie as the preferred systems integrator to lead a consortium of vendors, including Oracle, Microsoft, archTIS, and others, to deliver the investments outlined in the data strategy. The Defence contract with KTech is expected to run until June 2024.

archTIS has been contracted through KTech to supply services in support of foundational secure data design services for Defence. This is the second work order awarded to archTIS under the Defence program. The new work order value is $758,688, bringing the total contracted value to $988,730 since November 2022. The announced work order term runs until 30 June 2023.

“archTIS is pleased to be awarded this new work order and grow in partnership with KTech to support the Australian Department of Defence’s secure data initiatives," Daniel Lai, archTIS Managing Director and CEO, said. "This cements archTIS as a key partner to KTech in delivering important Defence data outcomes demonstrating continued growth in a key strategic account.

"The work we are doing in Defence with KTech will unlock future opportunities for archTIS in the large Defence market for future product sales.”
